PCTVS Students Intern for Senator Cory Booker

PCTVS is proud to announce that PCTI's Malik Nasser and STEM’s Kenny Frias have secured internships with the office of Senator Cory Booker. These outstanding students are currently based in Senator Booker's Newark office, where they are actively contributing to constituent-focused tasks. This internship provides them with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the workings of Congress, enhancing their personal and academic growth. We are delighted to share additional information about our outstanding interns, Kenny Frias and Malik Nasser. These two talented individuals bring unique perspectives and aspirations to their roles within the office of Senator Cory Booker.

Malik Nasser, a student from PCTI's Academy of Criminal Justice, is not only dedicated to his current internship but also has ambitious goals for his future. With aspirations to enter law school and eventually delve into the world of politics, Malik views this internship as a pivotal stepping stone. Malik's commitment to his education is exemplified by his membership in the National Honor Society and Gifted and Talented programs, underscoring his passion for excellence.

Moreover, Kenny Frias, representing the STEM Computer Science pathway, possesses a strong background in computer science. He envisions a future where he can merge his expertise in computer science with his keen interest in political science through data analysis and collection. Kenny's dedication to both fields is evident through his involvement in various school organizations, including the World Language Honor Society, Rho Kappa, Student Council Interact, and Boys State.

Both Kenny and Malik share a deep commitment to helping people and witnessing the positive impact that can be achieved through their work in the Senator’s office. They are eager to gain valuable experience and progressively take on more responsibilities within the office. Their dedication and ambition make them valuable assets to the internship program, and we are proud to have them represent our school community in Senator Cory Booker's office.
